Весьма амбициозный проект - гремучая смесь из мрачных подземельев Heretic в духе серии Diablo, приправленных эффектами Brutal Hexen на базе эпичного Wrath of Cronos. Также Ник проявил интерес к заброшенному проекту - Diablo II Conversion Mod нашего кудесника Алекса, а посему не исключено что в будущих версиях появятся и полноценные мобы из Дьяблы.
Что там есть? 1. Мрачные авторские подземелья. 2. Музыка Дьяблы. 3. Улучшенная графика и спецэффекты на базе кастомных текстур и Брутал Хексы. 4. Обновлённый зверинец, в том числе и новые боссы (Мясник, Леорик и др.) 5. WoC. 6. ОРДЫ монстров, в духе Серьёзного Сэма.
Автор мода: IronTusk aka irontusk341 (Nick Molitor) Порты: GZDoom 2.2 (на данный момент), Zandronum (?) Режимы игры: сингл, мульти (?) IWADs: собственный PWAD на основе Heretic Статус проекта, версия: в активной разработке, полностью готовы E(1-6) (07.05.18), Beta v0.9
Примечания: К сожалению на данный момент Ник не особо заморачивается с техническим оформлением мода, из-за чего он весит очень много. Надеюсь что в будущем он разделит его на отдельные паки для удобства скачивания.

H U G E - U P D A T E
-README- 1. Contains the following mods, Wrath of Cronos, Brutal Heretic, diablo.pk3 (diablo_beta.pk3), and Heretic HQ texture pack. 2. In order for the game to work, the above mentioned pk3's or mods, must be loaded with the Diablo.wad either drag an drop into Gzdoom.exe or just load the (irontusk's Diablo 3D) bat file. 3. Before loading the Batch File. Make sure you have GZdoom 2.2 downloaded onto your computer, 32 or 64 bit depending on your operating system due to one of the mods in this game not working on any version after 2.2 (see Thetis or Wrath of Cronos 1.8A thread in Zdoom forums) 4. If your Antivirus uses heuristics in scanning. It may flag this mod because the mod is intended to hook into another running program(Gzdoom's exe file). 5. Contains episodes 1-5, (Diablo 1 + Diablo 2's Acts 1-4) as episode 6 (Diablo 2's Act 5) is in development.
-Class Descriptions-
▒Barbarian, A Vengeful Fighter of immense physical strength that excels in Melee combat, and is 50% resistant to physical damage. A master and commander in battle, he can cast powerful commands that can strengthen his allies in battle or command fear into the heart of his foes. He hails from the mysterious Dreadlands
▒Paladin, A Cleric of the highest order of Akarat, who is 50% resistant to all types of damage except Ice where he is -50% resistant to, He is the ultimate healer and tanker who can cast powerful aura. He is one of the few in his order who fled Kurast during the Corruption of the Zakarum.
▒Sorcerer, A master of the elements, this Vejeri Mage hails from the Mage clans of old, He is 50% resistant to Elemental damage, but is also -50% resistant to physical damage, He is the ultimate mob clearer.
▒Rogue, Once an outcast of Tran Authula, This Hunter now seeks to prove themselves in battle, A master of the bow and nature, they are 50% resistant to poison and ice. But only -25% resistant to Physical damage. He can call upon the wild and nature to heal his allies, or an aura that increase his and his allies Agility.
▒Necromancer, A master of the balance, This servant of Rathma seeks to restore the balance and can call on the dead to aid him in battle, he is %50 resistant to poison, and Arcane damage, but is -%50 to physical damage and fire. The great thing about this class, is the ability to lifetap foes, and can summon powerful pets to aid him should he be swarmed by a mob.
-CHANGES SINCE V0.7- 1. Entrance to duriel's room and exit is now available in E3M7. 2. Torches fixed in E3M7 3. Diablo 1 knights now show health bars and are shorter. 4. Andariel now shows her health bar 5. Episode 4 now completed 6. HQ Texture pack has new Textures as some textures in other episodes have been updated 7. E1M6 was given the nerf treatment, Spitting Terrors now do less damage, Weredragons are less numerous, Replaced with more Fire Gargoyles 8. E1M9's Saberclaws replaced with Zombies. 9. Arcane Construct at start of E3M8 has had its spawn floor lowered to avoid hitting player as soon as player spawns. 10. Arcane Sanctuary Exit portal now works 11. New Sprites for The Dark Lord and also Lazarus in Episode 1. 12. Added Fog, Episodes 4 & 5 Completed 13. Healthbars for certain sprites have been fixed. 14. Rare weapon drops now work on bosses as they should. 15. Lazarus's "abandon your quest" speech can now be heard when he sees you. 16. The Black Knight has been buffed both in speed and hitpoints. 17. old Lazarus sprite was moved to episode 4 in the Kurast Sewers to serve as Karamat: The Undead Que-Hegan (Former Zakarum Pope) 18. Brutal Effects now apply to most Diablo Sprites except Black Knights, skeletons and skeleton archers. 19. Color of Oblivion knight has gone from Orange to bone Yellow to fit the pesky knights of Diablo 2's Act 4. 20. Some Content no longer used in Diablo.pk3 was removed to clean up space, Deleted unused HD Textures in the Heretic HD Texture pack 21. Some minor compression on certain audio files to decrease file size. 22. All Undead type monsters are immune to (lifetap/necrogauntlets). 23. All monsters have seen their damage buffed. All #4 big weapons have seen their damage output reduced. 24. Some monsters are immune to certain damage types. 25. Heretic's Original Sprites that remain in the levels have been renamed to fit the Diablo Beastery. 26. Main Menu names for Classes have changed to fit Diablo 2's list. 27. All Weapons/Armor/Accessories have been Renamed to fit diablo 2 lore.
*NEW SPRITES* 1. The Smith has been added and removed the duplicate *Butcher* from Episode 2. 2. Mephisto Added (Silver translucent baron of hell Afrit) 3. Added Giant Mosquito, Profaned One (who was 0.7's Diablo in Episode 1) is now a Chaos Demon who guards Diablo in (episode 5). 4. Added some more rare items. Resistance rings now also can be found in secret places. 5. Real Duriel added, replaced Fake Duriel with real sprite from Diablo 2. The fake one will be repurposed for a mini boss in episode 6. 6. Hephaesto The Armourer added to Episode 5. 7. added Lavabeasts, They are immune to fire but are twice as weak to ice.
Known issues 1. Class names havent changed while in Stats menu. 2. Sometimes the Diablosc ACS may not load and you will get an error, Just reload the game or save file and try again. 3. Having many sprites in one room dying may cause significant FPS drop on older machines if Brutal Effects is on. Especially more if HQ Resize mode textures are on. (Thanks Sergeant Mark IV on that troubleshoot) 4. Shop items appear in their base form and havent been renamed to the diablo 1&2 system yet... But pickup names are working as they should.
-THE ESSENTIAL FUN PART- 1. Extract the Rar or Zip file into your Gzdoom 2.2 folder, 2. if you have the earlier version of the diablo beta, make sure you replace it with this version. 3. click on "Irontusks Diablo 3D.Bat" File to play, 4. after loading the game go to options set your Gzdoom video aspect ratio to 4:3 or else the player sprites (especially the hunter) will look half cut off from the screen. unless you are using 3rd person mode (follow cam) 5. if the game is too dark in terms of lighting you can change this in the Display Options. 6. To set your skills and hotkey them, go to Gzdoom options under controls and scroll down to Skills RPG and set your hotkeys.
Planned additions to the game.... 1. Make a sprite for undead Griswald 3. add more rare weapons and rare artifacts in later episodes to encourge replay-ability. 4. Adding snow and rain effects to the game for Kurast and the Dreadlands 5. adding more diablo 2 sprites, hopefully with help. 6. redo the shop system item names. 7. Update Heretics already HD textures to 4K and make an optional pack for future 4K textures. 8. If i can get help on this (adding variety to armor besides the WOC ones, like platnum helmets with fire resist etc. *if possible*)
Хочу подчеркнуть что была ЗНАЧИТЕЛЬНО оптимизирована производительность, тяжёлые бруталдум эффекты теперь подключаются модульно (можно исключить из батника мода). Пишите в личку если что.
